1. Service Overview

Recreto ("Service") is an AI-powered photo generation service operated by Planum ("Company"). When you upload 1 selfie, AI generates photos across categories including Professional, Casual, and ID/Passport photos.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old to use the Service. Users under 14 cannot use the Service even with parental consent. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 14 years old.

3. Account Registration & Management

  • You can create an account via Google OAuth or email magic link.
  • One account per email address.
  • Please keep your account information accurate.
  • You are responsible for your account security. If you notice unauthorized access, please contact [email protected] immediately.
  • You can request account deletion at any time. Deletion will remove all data, including remaining credits.

4. Credits & Payment

The Service operates on a credit-based system.

  • 1 credit generates 1 AI photo.
  • Packages: Starter 20 credits $9.99 / Pro 60 credits $19.99 / Studio 150 credits $39.99
  • Credits never expire. You can use them anytime after purchase.
  • Domestic payments (Korea) are processed via Toss Payments; international payments via Polar.sh.
  • All purchases are one-time payments. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.

5. Refund Policy

Once you start even one generation, the credits used are non-refundable. Refunds are only available under the following conditions if no generation has been initiated.

  • Full refund within 7 days of purchase, only if no generation has been started.
  • After 7 days, refunds are not available regardless of usage.
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method.
  • To request a refund, use the refund button in your dashboard or email [email protected].

※ Refund processing times may vary depending on payment processor (Polar, Toss Payments) policies. Payment processing fees may not be refunded.

6. User Content

You retain all rights to the selfie photos you upload. By using the Service, you agree to the following.

  • Uploaded photos are used only for AI photo generation.
  • They are never used for AI model training.
  • All photos are deleted within 7 days of account deletion.
  • You warrant that you have the right to upload the photos you submit.

7. Generated Content License

You have the following usage rights for AI-generated photos.

  • Free to use for personal purposes (social media profiles, resumes, etc.).
  • Commercial use is also permitted (company websites, business cards, etc.).
  • However, you may not falsely claim generated photos are of another person, or use them for illegal purposes.
  • Reselling or sublicensing generated photos to third parties is prohibited.

8. Prohibited Conduct

The following actions are prohibited. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

  • Uploading another person's photo without their consent
  • Uploading photos of minors
  • Attempting to generate illegal, harmful, threatening, or rights-infringing content
  • Circumventing service security or technical restrictions
  • Using automated methods (bots, etc.) to generate photos in bulk
  • Using the Service for impersonation, fraud, or deceptive purposes

9. Service Changes & Discontinuation

  • The Company may modify the Service to improve quality.
  • For significant changes, we will notify you at least 7 days before implementation via email or in-service notice.
  • Service may be temporarily suspended due to force majeure, technical issues, etc.
  • If the Service is permanently discontinued, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and refund unused credits.

10. Disclaimers

  • AI-generated photos are not real photographs. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or likeness of results.
  • Results may differ from your expectations. Due to the nature of AI, outputs may vary each time.
  • If you use generated photos as ID or passport photos, please verify requirements with the relevant authority. We do not guarantee compliance with official photo specifications.
  • The Company is not liable for any issues arising from your use of generated photos.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the user. This limitation does not apply to damages caused by the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence.

12. Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  • Any disputes arising from the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court.
  • In case of disputes, we encourage you to first contact [email protected] to seek an amicable resolution.

13. Changes to These Terms

The Company may modify these Terms as needed. We will notify you at least 7 days before the effective date via in-service notice or email. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you may stop using the Service and delete your account. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
